My educational and work background is clinical microbiology.  I have worked as a clinical microbiologist for around 4 years, including Parkland Hospital's lab. In addition, I was a research microbiologist for Abbott Laboratories. As a full time instructor (and 3 part time years) in the Dallas County Community College District for over 25 years ( at  Richland College since 1985), I have taught general biology, anatomy & physiology, and microbiology.
