BIOL 2420 Microbiology for Nonscience Majors---for nursing as well as some 2 year vocational programs (check prospective programs to make sure which microbiology to take)

BIOL 2421 Microbiology for Science Majors---for students going into nursing, dental, medical, physician assistant, clinical lab science, and dietetics programs (maybe some dental hygiene programs)

Nursing programs may take either 2421 or 2420, but some programs may prefer 2421.  (Please check the nursing programs you are interested in to make sure of transferability).
